We were extremely fortunate to adopt our son, Liam, in 2024. While he finds peace in nature and fulfillment in planting and watching our gardens grow, he is the happiest and most proud since becoming a father. He is a supportive and motivating husband and father, who enjoys both an active lifestyle as well as calm, quality family time. He brings excitement, stability, love, and laughter to our family.

Megan is one of a kind. She is intelligent, humble, kind, gentle, empathetic and one of the most optimistic individuals. Our struggles with infertility tested her optimism, but despite the setbacks and disappointments, Megan never lost the belief that we would someday raise children. She has a positive, infectious energy. Her positive energy is wonderful to observe when she plays with our son. Megan decided to put her career on hold as a physical therapist and brought her kindness and empathy home as a full time stay-at-home mother. She has flourished as a mother over the past two years and is very hopeful to be able to care for, and raise, a second child.

Liam makes us happier than we could have ever imagined. He loves to make us laugh with his infectious giggles and funny faces. He is good-natured, enjoys the outdoors, reading books, and going to the playground and library. He enjoys playing with trucks, his play kitchen, riding his bike and driving around in his car outdoors. He lights up around his cousins and his neighborhood friends. He cherishes his time with his grandparents and aunts and uncles, whom we are fortunate to live near.
OUR HOME & COMMUNITY
We live in a Victorian house in a small, historic village in Upstate, NY. We are fortunate to be able to walk the entire village and regularly run into neighbors and friends. Our village has a library and playground just two blocks away. We have a fenced in backyard with fruit trees, vegetable, and flower gardens. We chose to move back to this town as both of our families live nearby, and we are within the school district that we graduated from.
We own a large plot of rural forested land. We spend many weekends there hiking and improving the forest and meadows. We look forward to allowing our children to learn about nature and experience the calmness that the wilderness can provide.
