We have always dreamed of starting a family, and unfortunately we are unable to have a biological children. Adoption has always been a meaningful path, we both witnessed firsthand the extraordinary impart it can have on a family. We continue to hold onto our faith, picturing a future filled with the love and joy of raising a child. We want the simple moments, walking to our neighborhood park and pushing our little one on the swings. We hope to raise our child to feel deeply loved, supported, and cherished. Someone who will grow up knowing they are strong, appreciated, and enough just the way they are.

Matthew is the kind of person everyone can count on. Raised in Floral Park as one of five children, he grew into a hardworking, dependable, and caring man who always puts family first. He is a loving husband and proud caretaker of his wife, two dogs, and pet chickens, even building their coop by hand. Matthew enjoys gardening and making homemade pasta sauce from the tomatoes he grows each summer. He loves traveling to upstate New York, where he still enjoys four-wheeling on trails his father introduced him to as a child. Whether he’s fixing car engines, helping friends and family, or setting up his grandfather’s trains every Christmas, Matthew brings kindness, generosity, patience, and love into everything he does.

Dominique is the kind of person who makes everyone feel cared for, welcomed, and loved. She’s warm, nurturing, and endlessly thoughtful, naturally stepping into the role of caretaker, which is why her friends have always called her “Dom the Mom”! Raised in Nutley by two wonderful parents, she grew up alongside her older brother, who now lives in New Hampshire. She enjoys creating comfort through cooking and baking, skills passed down from her mother. Dominique even made her own wedding cake and bakes cookies for Matthew every week. She loves snowy mountain views and sunny beach days alike. Whether she’s building snowmen, paddle boarding at the local beach, crocheting baby blankets and stuffies for her nieces and nephews, or simply spending time with loved ones, Dominique’s joyful and generous spirit makes everyone around her feel safe, cherished, and deeply loved.

MEET OUR PETS
Matthew and I open our home to all living things! We have 2 wonderful, loving, playful, and energetic dogs named Stella and Buca. They love to play ball and always have the “zoomies” in the yard! They give lots of puppy kisses and love belly rubs! Along with our 2 dogs we have 8 chickens (Nugget, Chickpea, Jojo, Chiquita, Little Run, Baby, Henrietta, and Ckickira). We loving collecting our backyard layed eggs every morning!
OUR HOME & COMMUNITY
Our home and community are very important to us. When searching for our first home, we wanted to make sure it was the perfect place to start and raise a family. We chose a home with a beautiful yard where we can gather with family and friends, something we do often and truly enjoy. Our neighborhood has 2 small parks within walking distance, we are a 5 minute from the wonderful parks and beaches along Long Islands North Shore. Every Sunday, the harder hosts an incredible farmers market with all local vendors. Through the year, our community also brings neighbors together through weekly concerts and movie nights in the parks.

Hi, we’re the Siragusa’s, and we have always wanted to extend our family. Throughout our time together (which has been 6 years) we have always spoken of the future. “I want to bring our little one to the mountains where you proposed!” “I can picture us doing this with a little one in the stroller!” “I’d love for Lucia and Vinny to grow up with lots of cousins like we did” Although we cannot have our own biological children we never gave up hope that we would have our own baby. We were blessed with amazing friends and family members who have adopted children and whom have been adopted themselves. We have an unlimited amounts of love in our hearts. We want to share our experiences and create new memories as a family. I have memories of sitting on my mother’s lap at the beach as the sun was setting behind us just listening and watching the waves, I want to create those memories with our baby. We want to cheer on our child during sporting events or dance recitals just to see a smile cross their face. We want to continue our weekly movie nights but make them Disney nights just to fall asleep on the couch and have Matthew carry our baby back to bed. We want to cherish any and all moments we can, and we’ll never take them for granted. We are extremely blessed to be in position where adoption is an option. We both come from big, loving, and joyful families who have supported us through our story, and we are ready to start the next chapter.
