We met in 2017 and were married in 2019, and from early on, we felt called to build our family through adoption following Anne’s medically complex birth story. Today, we are proud and deeply grateful adoptive parents to our daughter, Charlee. She has brought so much joy into our lives, and we feel excited and hopeful about the opportunity to welcome another child into our family. What Anne Loves About Marshall
Marshall is a proud Texas Tech Red Raider and an airline captain who grew up in a small Hill Country town. He now travels the world and volunteers as chairman of a program supporting mental health in the airline industry. His career has instilled responsibility, focus, and steadiness. These are all qualities he also brings into our home.
What I admire most is how present he is when he’s home. Whether he’s playing with Charlee, helping around the house, or making us laugh, he gives his full attention to our family. He’s calm, dependable, and has a great sense of humor, with a steady yet adventurous spirit.
As a dad, he’s hands-on, loving, and Charlee’s biggest cheerleader. I know he’ll build that same strong bond with another child.

What Marshall Loves About Anne
Anne is the writer in our family, but I’ll give this a shot. She’s a devoted Auburn Tiger from Alabama who also delights in being an adopted Texan. She works as a program manager for a nonprofit that empowers high school girls, reflecting her passion for building confidence and self-worth. Her role allows her to work from home and spend meaningful time with Charlee. She also volunteers as the communication chair for a Houston nonprofit that supports adoptive families.
At home, Anne is the organizer who keeps everything running smoothly. She brings calm, structure, and so much care to our daily life. I call her a “rockstar” because I’m constantly amazed by her.
Anne is thoughtful, creative, and deeply intentional. As a mom, she is nurturing, present, and devoted to helping Charlee thrive through exposure to books, music, and various activities. I know she’ll share that same unwavering commitment with another child.

She enjoys swimming, gymnastics, and soccer, and is always eager to try new things. She attends a wonderful preschool and comes home with imaginative stories about her day.
At home, she loves “reading” her books, dancing, “cooking” in her play kitchen, and riding her bike. She is both sweet and cuddly, and independent and determined, which are all qualities we treasure.
Charlee lights up around babies and is a doting older cousin to our new niece. We know she will embrace being a big sister with love, excitement, and pride.
We deeply value the loving connection we have with Charlee’s Birth Mother, and we are committed to honoring whatever level of openness and relationship feels best for you.
OUR PETS
MEET OUR DOG
Mac is incredibly patient, affectionate, and very playful. She has a gentle and easygoing temperament that fits perfectly into our home.
Her bond with Charlee is especially sweet. They are truly best friends. Whether they’re playing or relaxing, there is a constant sense of comfort and companionship between them. Charlee’s favorite part of her morning routine is preparing Mac’s food bowl.
We love the idea of a child growing up with that kind of connection, having a loyal companion and learning to care for animals.
OUR HOME & COMMUNITY
As parents, we’ve created a home environment that balances structure and fun. We are surrounded by a strong, supportive community of extended family and dear friends who are already part of Charlee’s life and are excited to welcome another child with open arms.
We look forward to continuing to build traditions, celebrate milestones, and create a childhood filled with love, support, and meaningful experiences.

We believe in nurturing a child’s future by offering exposure to sports and the arts, while ensuring they receive an excellent education in a trusted public school system.
We are a family that embraces the little things: Storytime, weekend outings, family dinners, and being present for all the moments in between. With immediate family spread across Texas, Alabama, and California, we also love planning travel adventures together. As an adoptive family, we feel grateful to be part of a non-denominational church community rooted in unreserved acceptance and inclusion for all.
We promise to unconditionally love your child for their unique individuality. We would also always honor your place in your child’s story.
