We are so grateful to have this opportunity!

We have been together since 2017. When we knew our relationship was destined for marriage, we began talking about our future family. Due to a birth defect, Anne knew from a young age she would pursue motherhood through adoption. Thankfully, Marshall, as the most supportive partner, quickly embraced this road to building a family wholeheartedly. We trust this is God’s plan for us and are so blessed to be on this journey together. We adopted our beautiful daughter in April 2023, and we are eager to complete our family with a second adoption. We have always wanted two children, and we pray faithfully for our second miracle.

I am 5’11 with brown hair and blue eyes. I grew up in Kerrville, Texas. My dad is a lawyer, my mom is a retired teacher, and my younger sister is a high school teacher in San Antonio. I attended Texas Tech and lived in Lubbock for seven years before moving to Houston in 2009 to pursue a career in aviation. I have spent the last 14 years flying airplanes. I am currently a Captain for a respected airline. I am lucky to have a job that offers a lot of flexibility for my family life. Being a dad is my greatest adventure. I enjoy grilling, golfing and fishing with friends. I recently started guitar lessons. I also like exploring BBQ restaurants and traveling with our family.

FAV HOLIDAY

Christmas
I am 4’10 with blonde hair and blue eyes. My dad is a retired homebuilder, and my mom is a retired teacher living in Alabama. My older brother and his wife live in California. I’m a proud graduate of Auburn University. I moved from Alabama to Houston in 2007, and I work for a non-profit that advocates for struggling high school girls. I thankfully have a flexible schedule, which allows me to spend more time at home with our daughter. Being a mom is my most treasured role. My favorite pastimes include sharing quality time with family and friends, traveling, theatre, lake boat rides, and cheering on Auburn Football. My Grandmothers both introduced me to my favorite show, The Golden Girls.

Charlee is a thriving, active and affectionate toddler who loves playing with her dog, learning with her friends at school, cooking with Marshall and attending swim class with Anne. With family in TX, AL and CA, she is an experienced traveler in cars and planes. She LOVES to swim in pools, lakes, and oceans. Charlee has a growing vocabulary and loves to dance. Her teachers at school adore her. We are grateful to have an open adoption with Charlee’s Birth Mom. Charlee is enamored with every baby she meets – especially now that she’s the BIG girl. We can’t wait to see her experience being a Big Sister. She gives the BEST “snugs”! We are so proud of Charlee and love her unconditionally.

OUR PETS

MEET OUR DOG

MacLaine “Mac” is a 10-year-old female Boston Terrier. Anne adopted her from a Houston rescue in 2018. She loves to travel with us to visit her extended family in Alabama, California, and across Texas. Her favorite toy is her tennis ball, and she loves to play with the kids in our family. From the first day we brought Charlee home, Mac has been so patient, attentive, and caring with her. She is always gentle – even when Charlee gets a little rambunctious! We have a dog bed in Charlee’s room so Mac can hang out with us during story time and Charlee’s bedtime routine. Last Halloween, we dressed Mac as Wilbur from “Charlotte’s Web” and Charlee was Charlotte. Mac is a cherished part of our family.

OUR HOME & COMMUNITY

We live in a historic Houston neighborhood called The Heights. Our home is 3 bedrooms with a playroom area and a fenced-in backyard. It is common to see neighbors walking dogs and riding bikes on our street. Our daughter attends a preschool nearby, and our church is only a few miles away. While our lovely neighborhood has good schools, plenty of parks, and play areas, we plan to relocate to a suburb to offer our children more home space with a full backyard, as well as accessibility to a top-rated public school system and more closeknit school friends.

THANK YOU

FOR CONSIDERING US

To a Very Special Person,

Although we have not yet been introduced, we already admire you greatly. The path you have chosen is one of ultimate selflessness and sacrifice, driven by faith and love. We cannot begin to imagine what you are feeling at this time, but we are so honored you are considering us to be the adoptive parents of your baby. The day we adopted our precious daughter shaped our lives forever, and we are blessed to have an opportunity to expand our family.

Family means a lot to both of us, and everyone is so excited to see our second adoption story unfold. Our parents (Charlee’s Snoozie/Pop Pop and SuSu/Giddy) have relished every opportunity to spoil their granddaughter, and they are thrilled to meet their next grandchild. Our siblings have been incredibly active in Charlee’s life, and they are ecstatic to welcome a new baby to our family. We also have a slew of extended family and dear friends who are delighted about the next addition to our family.

We promise to faithfully and unconditionally love your child. They will be the center of our universe. In our time together, we’ve supported each other through every loss, challenge and triumph. Parenthood has by far been our greatest joy as a couple. We look forward to sharing our passion for travel, music, sports and faith with both of our children. Even more so, we look forward to our children discovering their own unique interests.

Our top priority is to provide a wonderful upbringing that our children experience with deep appreciation for the self-sacrificing choice that their Birth Mothers made out of pure love for them.

We promise to offer your child the best opportunities we can, including a first-rate education. We will travel the world and offer many adventures that will shape their childhood memories. They will be raised in a Christian-focused and joy-filled home, where they will be loved, supported, and honored for their individuality. Your child will always know that their Birth Mother is an amazing and selfless woman who loves them very, very much.

With Greatest Respect,

Marshall, Anne and Charlee
