Hello! We are Nicole and Mark. Thank you for visiting our profile and for considering us as parents for your child. We have been together for 7 years, married for 4 and we help bring out the best in each other through communication, dedication and lots and lots of laughter! We have always dreamed of becoming parents! Despite being unable to have a biological child, we decided early on in our relationship that we wanted to adopt. When we are fortunate enough to be chosen as parents, we promise that our child will be LOVED. Our child will be surrounded by a strong support system, cared for, protected and celebrated; celebrated for their every strength, applauded for their every effort and supported through every challenge. The happiness, well-being, security and success in our child’s life will always be our priority. We will provide our child with a loving home full of opportunities to grow. We will embrace every moment and every milestone and lovingly guide them in the journey of becoming the best versions of themselves. We are just bursting in anticipation for our family to grow. About Mark (Written by Nicole)
Every morning after Mark returns from his neighborhood dog walk (our dog, Sheldon is quite the celebrity), he spends the next half hour making me laugh – which makes it very difficult to eat breakfast. That is Mark in a nutshell. He genuinely gets to know everyone, makes others smile and goes out of his way to be kind and generous to others. Each morning when he leaves for work I always say, “have fun helping your peeps” because that’s what he chooses to do with his time – he helps his physical therapy patients feel better. Mark is a super-star uncle to 8 nephews and nieces who have spent their entire lives using him as their personal jungle gym. Babies and kids gravitate to Mark (sometimes making me lovingly envious.) I can’t wait to hear him being called “Daddy.” He will be such an amazing father.

Nicole is one of the strongest people I have ever met and she inspires me every day. Whether it’s her commitment to educating children or her work as a theater artist, Nicole is dedicated to her passions and to helping others find their own. She loves watching Sci-Fi, especially Star Trek and Doctor Who. She loves dancing to music from generations past and getting dressed up in costume (no matter what the occasion!) We see a lot of live theater together and I always get a kick out of glancing over at her to see how much fun she is having in the seat next to me. She truly comes to life when she is holding a baby, on the floor playing house with toddlers, or reading a story to little ones. No one can read a story the way Nicole does – she puts on a show! “Though she be but little, she is Fierce”, describes Nicole perfectly. She is petite and gentle but a force of nature when it comes to helping and protecting family and friends. She has so much to give to a child of our own. I am so proud to call her my wife and I await the day for her to be called, “Mommy.”

We live in a beautiful, supportive and welcoming community in New York. There are countless families, great schools and wonderful parks where we picnic and bike. We are in walking distance to The Manhattan Children’s Museum and The Museum of Natural History. Children’s sports, dance, music, art and swimming classes are all around the corner as well. We have a lovely, spacious apartment and a beautifully equipped children’s playroom where we have our friends and their children come to enjoy year-round. We love our home, are close to our family and friends and have created a loving and fulfilling life that we are eager to share with a child.

Very simply, we have hopes and dreams for ourselves and wish to carry them forward to our child just as our families did for us. We are committed to each other, loyal to our friends and work hard to give back to the world around us. We have a nice home in a lovely, family-oriented community – our families live near us and our friends are our village.
Our greatest hope for you in choosing us would be that when you close your eyes at night, you will find comfort in knowing we will do the best that we can possibly do for our child. We promise to provide a beautiful life for our baby. We promise to provide our child with unconditional love and kindness. We will fiercely protect, nurture and strengthen our child.
