We are so grateful to have this opportunity!

Welcome to our profile! We’re Caitlin and Joe from Western New York – an energetic, loving couple that cherishes life’s adventures together. Even before marriage, we both planned to adopt in our future. After losing twins to pre-term labor two years ago and our ten-month-old son, J.R., being born three months premature, our gratitude for parenthood has only deepened. Raising J.R. has brought us immense joy and we believe now is the perfect time to continue growing our family through adoption. We promise to love your child unconditionally and would be honored to share letters, photos, and updates if you would like. Thank you for considering us!

Our life is more meaningful with J.R. in every way and we are so thankful he is our son. J.R.’s strength has inspired us from the very beginning. Born at 28 weeks, his NICU nurses always told us they’ve never seen such an active and playful baby in their care. J.R. has maintained these characteristics to the present day. J.R. is a fighter who persevered through all medical challenges and we are blessed to share he is now big, strong, and fully healthy. As J.R. has grown, his joyful spirit, endless laughter, and bright smile continues to light up every room he enters. J.R.’s personality gives us confidence he will be a loving and caring big brother to all of his future siblings.

OUR PETS

MEET OUR DOG

Our 10 year old dog, Rawlings, is full of love, greeting everyone at the door with a toy in his mouth. Rawlings is happiest surrounded by people. His gentleness shines brightest around children, soaking up their attention and petting. The love Rawlings has for our son is particularly special. Rawlings always respects safe physical boundaries with J.R. when he is playing on the ground, but follows him everywhere to make sure he is always OK. Rawlings even sleeps next to his crib so if J.R. wakes up in the night, he comes right into our bedroom to make sure we woke up. Rawlings also enjoys our daily neighborhood walk and exploring nature on hikes with us on nearby trails.

OUR HOME & COMMUNITY

We live in a two-story cape house in the town center of one of the most diverse and high-performing school districts in Western New York. Our home features a spacious, fenced-in backyard, large front patio, and a three seasons room to enjoy spending time in good weather. Large open indoor spaces with our living room and kitchen, as well as a spacious play room provide ample space for children to play and serves as a hub for gatherings of family and friends. We have four bedrooms on our second floor, which is ideal for growing our family. We are a two minute walk to the town’s middle school and high school, as well as a park, shops, and restaurants – including our favorite ice cream spot!

THANK YOU

FOR CONSIDERING US

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us! We hope our profile has given you a true sense of who we are – two people deeply committed to loving, nurturing, and raising children in a joyful, stable, and supportive home. Our greatest hope is to grow our family through adoption, and we are honored that you are considering us as potential parents for your precious child.

Our lives are rich with love and support thanks to an incredible network of family and friends who are excited to welcome another child into our circle. J.R. is adored by his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and our close friends, most of whom live nearby, and your child would be embraced with the same unconditional love. We value togetherness, shared traditions, and building lasting memories as a family.

As parents, our focus is always on creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and consistency. We believe in teaching values like kindness, personal responsibility, and resilience. Our careers have taught us how to support children’s emotional, academic, and behavioral needs – skills we bring into our home every day. We love introducing J.R. to the world through experiences, big and small, that help him grow into a compassionate and curious person. We can’t wait to share these same experiences with your child as well.

We understand this is a deeply personal decision and we are grateful for your courage. Please know that, if chosen, we will love your child unconditionally and offer them every opportunity to thrive. With full hearts, we look forward to the possibility of growing our family and honoring the love that brings us together.
