HELLO THERE!
WE ARE
DAVID & ABBY
FROM COLORADO
We are so grateful to have this opportunity!
Thank you for taking the time to review our profile and consider us as part of your journey. We know this decision comes from a place of deep love and courage, and we are truly honored you are here. While infertility first led us toward adoption, everything changed after welcoming our adopted daughter in 2024. Getting to experience her life, laughter, and personality together has been one of the greatest joys of our lives and confirmed this was always meant to be our path. We can’t wait for the joy of watching siblings grow learn, laugh, and share life side by side. We’re so excited to continue growing our family in a home full of love, support, and adventure.ABOUT DAVID

Family and friendship are at the heart of who I am, and I value building genuine, loyal relationships that last. Becoming a dad has brought a whole new sense of joy and adventure to my life, from celebrating little “firsts” to Saturday morning dance parties with our daughter. I especially love creating fun memories with Ainsley, whether we are building elaborate blanket forts or pulling homemade sleds through the snow.
In my free time, I enjoy activities that bring people together, like golfing, playing pickleball, hiking with family and friends, or working on cars with my brother-in-law. I also love cooking Cajun family favorites while cheering on LSU baseball. My friends, family, and coworkers know they can count on me, whether it is helping coach youth sports, tackling a home project, or simply being there when needed.

I love living life to the fullest and staying connected with the people I care about. Working from home for a company that values flexibility allows me to be fully present in both my career and motherhood, which has been the greatest joy of my life. I cherish watching our daughter grow, learn, and explore the world, and I love that our evenings often include reading children’s books together in our new reading nook creating quiet, meaningful moments.
I enjoy staying active through softball, catching up with friends at Bunco nights, and unwinding with a good puzzle or book. I am very close with my extended family, and we gather throughout the year both in Colorado and throughout the country to play games, laugh, and make lasting memories together. Whether at home, with friends, or cheering from the sidelines, I truly enjoy being part of life’s everyday moments.

Ainsley is a bird-loving, snack-monster who approaches the world with excitement and openness. She is naturally outgoing and always wants to be included in what’s going on around her. She’s fit into the rhythm of our lives seamlessly, cheering alongside us at pickleball and softball, learning how to support her favorite baseball team, exploring hiking trails, and trying new foods whenever we go out to eat. She is just as happy in her everyday rhythms, where she thrives at pre-school building friendships, learning from her teachers, and soaking in each moment. She also has an infectious laugh that you can’t help but smile at, and we often find ourselves wishing we could bottle it up and keep it forever. Ainsley brings joy into ordinary days and reminds us how special the simple moments together can be.
OUR PETS
MEET OUR DOG, RANGER
Ranger, named after Abby’s favorite baseball team, is our well-loved and extremely spoiled, seven-year-old Blue Heeler. Ranger is the most loyal pup to those who are a part of our pack. Always excited to join us on a hike, he also loves any opportunity to snuggle on the couch and simply be with his people. Being another foodie in the family, he loves sitting beneath the high-chair and helping to “clean-up”.
OUR HOME & COMMUNITY
With nearly three hundred days of sunshine and the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains, Colorado is a place our family truly loves to call home. Nestled between Colorado Springs and Denver, our neighborhood feels connected and welcoming, with mountain trails, parks, playgrounds, and friends who feel like an extended community. We are also grateful for a small group through our church that meets weekly. While the adults gather to talk through the week’s message and share life together, the kids spend those same couple hours playing and building friendships of their own.
In the warmer months, you’ll often find us at softball games, sharing ice cream after dinner, or eating outside together. Winter brings cozy evenings at home with game nights and time with friends. We also love our “staycation” time in the mountains at David’s parents’ condo near a local ski resort, where we ski, hike, and slow down together.

THANK YOU
FOR CONSIDERING US
Our desire to adopt has never been simply about adding to our family, it is about continuing to share the love that already fills our home. We are so grateful for the family we have, and we also feel deeply that there is more love to give. We have thoughtfully prepared our home and hearts not just once, but again, to welcome another child into a life surrounded by care, stability, laughter, and belonging.
Through parenting, we have come to appreciate even more deeply the kind of home and love we hope to continue sharing with another child. It has deepened our patience, our gratitude, and our commitment to raising a child who feels secure, supported, and unconditionally loved. We hope to give your child a home where honesty, openness, and comfort are part of everyday life, where they feel safe to be exactly who they are.
We are humbled by the strength and love it takes to consider an adoption plan. Your decision will always be part of our family story, and it is something we will hold with deep respect and gratitude. We are open to whatever level of connection feels right for you, whether that is letters, photos, or visits, and our hope is always to honor your role in the child’s life in a way that feels meaningful and respectful over time.
We do not take this journey lightly. If we are chosen, we will carry that trust with us every day and do everything we can to help your child grow up knowing how deeply they are loved not just by us, but by the story that brought them to us.
