Thank you for viewing our profile. We deeply respect the time and care you’re investing in this emotional journey. We’re Kimberly and Bryan. Growing up with siblings was a gift, and we always hoped for two children. After struggling with infertility, including two miscarriages and IVF, we welcomed our daughter, Alexandra. Now that she’s a toddler, we’re eager to expand our family through adoption. We have so much love to share and can’t wait to embrace another child, nurturing a wonderful sibling relationship.

Bryan is an amazing husband and dad. He’s funny, smart, outgoing, always down for an adventure, loves to read and learn, and would do anything for his friends and family. Previously a volunteer firefighter, Bryan is the first to jump in and help during an emergency not only for family but strangers too! During my miscarriages, Bryan never left my side. He made IVF bearable. When I see him with Alexandra – twirling with her, flying her around the house like an airplane, teaching her how to balance on her bike – I’m reminded of how deeply he loves and cares for our family. There is no doubt in my mind that Bryan will always have our backs and will do what is best for us.

Alexandra “Alex” is a toddler in every sense of the word! She’s funny, goofy, inquisitive, stubborn, smart, resilient, caring, loving, moody, compassionate, a bundle of energy – everything rolled up into one little human. She soaks up everything she sees and hears. And she’s so amazing. Her ability to love, display love, and give love is limitless. Bunnies and doggies are her best friends. Alex loves to help, too! She helps to feed and walk Zahra, mix pancake batter, assemble pizzas, dust furniture, and attempts to carry groceries. Her teachers at school say Alex is the sweetest kid and is very nice to classmates; sharing toys and being a good friend. We can’t wait for her to have a sibling!

OUR PETS

MEET OUR DOG

We adopted Zahra three years ago after seeing her on a rescue organization’s website. Zahra hails from Aruba and is the perfect mixed breed island pup. The only thing she loves more than squeaky toys is when Alex drops her food! She greets Alex when she gets out of bed and enjoys licking crumbs off of Alex’s hands and face. We are teaching Alex how to care for Zahra – getting her food in the morning and holding the leash when we do our daily family walk.

OUR HOME & COMMUNITY

Our house is in a small coastal town and has a yard that’s the perfect size to play fetch with Zahra and let Alexandra run wild. We bought our house because of its close proximity to family, great schools, and easy access to cities like Hartford and New York City. The neighborhood is full of young families who love to get together and host events for the kids. There is always something to do in our town: story time at the library, kid dance parties on the beach, hiking around the lake, or playing at one of the numerous playgrounds. In recent years, a lot of our friends have moved to our town which is exciting because our friends mean the world to us!

Choosing an adoptive family for your child is a huge decision, and we can’t even imagine how much thought goes into it. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your consideration. We hope you can envision your child as part of our silly, loving, and supportive family. We promise a childhood packed with laughter, discovery, and unconditional love. We will continue to do everything we can to give Alexandra and our future child a safe space to become their own person; to grow, learn, laugh, cry, succeed, and fail. We will help them experience different cultures and encourage adventure. They will be taught empathy, love, kindness, and acceptance. For every scraped knee, every small win, and every big dream – we’ll be there. We’ll nurture curiosity and show them how good it feels to help others. Your child will grow up with the freedom to explore, and the comfort of always having us there for them, with Alexandra by their side. The future we dream of for our family is one filled with even more magic – all experienced alongside a loving big sister. We’re looking forward to countless more story time snuggles, beach dance parties, and hikes by the lake.
