Hello! We are Emily and Anthony, and we are so humbled you’re here taking the time to get to know us. We have been happily married for 11 years, and though it may sound cliche, we truly are best friends. Years ago, when we were just dating but beginning to discuss a future life together, we discovered our mutual desire to adopt. To put it simply, adoption has been our plan from day one! Since then, we have continued to faithfully build our relationship on love, honesty, respect, adventure, and LOTS of laughter, and we cannot wait to pass along these principles to our future child!ABOUT ANTHONY

I was born and raised in California until I was 10 years old when my family moved to Georgia. I have a close-knit family, consisting of my parents, 3 siblings, and several nieces and nephews, who I get to see often. I have spent much of my life involved in various activities including baseball, soccer, camping, and water sports. During the summer, you can usually find me on the lake wakeboarding behind our family boat. I also enjoy photography, golfing, going to concerts, and traveling with Emily. I love connecting with people and the world around me through genuine curiosity, listening, and learning. Being a school teacher for many years, I was able to share this passion for learning with children of all ages, and I look forward to experiencing this with my own child one day.

The most important thing to know about me is that I love God. The second thing? I love people! Whether family, friends, or strangers, I always cherish a good conversation over a cup of coffee. My family, which includes my parents, brother, sister-in-law, and niece, all live close which means we are able to visit with them frequently. Although Georgia has been “home” my entire life, I prioritize traveling and experiencing new cultures regularly. I enjoy crafting, reading, watching football, and going to concerts with Anthony. Spending time with my nieces and nephews is an opportunity I never pass up. They help me see the world through a child’s eyes, and in those moments, I am reminded that little joys are what make a truly beautiful life.

MEET OUR PETS
We share our home with our 2 fun loving dogs, Herschel and Athena, and our 14-year-old cat, Charleigh. Our dogs love going for walks around the neighborhood and exploring our local parks. Herschel is always up for an adventure with Anthony, while Athena prefers cuddling up next to Emily on the couch. Charleigh is an old soul, mostly keeping to herself, but will come out for treats and pets when we get home from work in the evening.
OUR HOME & COMMUNITY
We are grateful to own a beautiful home with plenty of room to grow our family. We live in a diverse, active, and safe neighborhood surrounded by a great community full of things that make life enjoyable such as family friendly parks, outdoor venues for family activities, hiking and walking trails, sports stadiums/arenas, beautiful mountains, and museums and exhibits for learning.
