About Drew, by Emily
Drew seeks to make loved ones feel genuinely cared for, so fatherhood would be his greatest joy: the chance to provide unfailing care as a guiding influence, and to have a front-row seat at every milestone. Professionally, he mentors engineering students at the University of Wisconsin as a Career Development Manager.
His upbringing allowed him to become a grounded, hardworking adult. We often see his encouraging parents and three siblings, who live locally. Being active outdoors brings Drew peace. He is a fan of all things sports and is impatiently waiting for the Brewers to win the World Series. You know you are loved when Drew is tracking your flight from our couch, just to make sure you get home safely.

About Emily, by Drew
Emily was meant to be a mom. Since childhood, whenever anyone would ask her what she wanted to be when she grew up, she would immediately answer, “a mother.” She cares for others professionally through her roles in social work, currently as an IRIS consultant. As a mother, Emily will be open-minded, strong, loyal, and above all, nurturing.
We enjoy traveling to spend time with Emily’s extended family in Denmark and Toronto, including her adoring mother and brother. Local visits to see her supportive dad and stepmom bring the warmth of meals and laughter. She loves cooking and live music, giggling with her longtime best friends, seeking out water wherever she can, and exploring all that our community has to offer.

Under a canopy of maple trees, our three-bedroom home on the east side of Madison is part of a culturally diverse and family-oriented neighborhood that hosts regular community events and features plenty of parks. Our neighbors know each other, look out for one another, and value warmth and a strong sense of belonging. Children ride their bikes on our street, and we know many of them well because they stop to admire our koi fish pond. We have a large backyard with a vegetable garden and plenty of space for a playset. Our neighborhood pool is at the heart of family summers here and is one of our favorite places.
