WE'VE ALWAYS KNOWN WE WANTED TO CREATE OUR FAMILY THROUGH ADOPTION.
We’ve been planning this journey for years now, and we’re confident that adoption is the path forward for us to expand our family – and we’re ready!
Please know that if chosen, we will love your child unconditionally. We will commit every day to create a fun & safe home for them. Adoption will never be a secret in our home. We will raise them to know of your amazing courage and strength.
We’ve worked hard to create a stable, loving, and adventurous life that we look forward to sharing with your child. We will support them in being able to pursue all of their education goals, passions, and interests.
Our dream is to provide a caring family to guide and support your child throughout their entire life.
If you so wish, we’d love to participate in any level of communication with you following the adoption – from pictures, to letters, to annual visits.
We are very excited that you are taking time to learn a little about our family and are looking forward to hopefully learning more about you as well!
Our Story
Although we were born on complete opposite sides of the world, somehow, we found our way to each other.
Maddy moved from Australia for college at UT Austin and that’s where we met! We were friends for over a year before finally on the very last day of the semester, Ramsey asked Maddy to go get ice cream and the rest is history.
Ramsey is quieter in nature and Maddy is loud and bubbly. We love to play video games, hang out with family and play with our 2 dogs. In our down time, we’re always planning our next international adventure. From visiting family in Belgium, to surfing in Australia on Christmas day, to going to see the Great Wall of China – we can’t wait to bring our child everywhere life takes us.
ABOUT
MADDY
I was born in Melbourne, Australia and spent my childhood moving around from country to country with my parents. We lived in England, the USA, Hong Kong, Switzerland and France to name a few. Growing up in China, I saw the orphanages and decided that one day I’d pursue adoption rather than have biological children.
I wasn’t very athletic growing up, however I learned to snowboard in Japan! Plus, in Australia I did learn to surf and loved hanging out at the beach with my friends.
My favorite thing about Ramsey: He’s a very kind, gentle & soft soul who wants to take care of everyone around him. He’s very protective of our family and will always provide for us.

DEGREES: Bachelor of Science in Film & Bachelor of Arts in French.
Maddy started her career working in 3D animation, but eventually found herself landing a dream job creating trailers & key art for a top video game franchise (psst, ever heard of Call of Duty?).
Maddy loves her career because it’s creative, and she’s allowed to work from home permanently. She’s so excited to be at home full-time with our child.
ABOUT
RAMSEY
I grew up in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas; my childhood was spent playing outside with my 3 siblings and many MANY cousins. My mom is from Belgium and my dad is from Palestine – they immigrated here and met during college.
My mom likes to go ‘all out’ for the holidays and decorates our childhood home top to bottom. Her favorite holiday is Christmas and everyone gathers at our house. I participated in many sports teams growing up, such as baseball & basketball. Being a member of a team taught me the importance of friendship, setting goals, patience and teamwork. I can’t wait to hang out with our child at basketball & football games!
My favorite thing about Maddy: She’s so intelligent and open minded. In addition to English, Maddy speaks French and is always reading, learning and creating things. There’s nothing she can’t do once she puts her mind to it.

DEGREES: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
Right out of college Ramsey landed a job in the Video Game industry, which has been a goal of his since childhood. He works on the coding side of video games and programs new and exciting game modes for players.
Ramsey loves his job because it combines his mathematics skills with his passion for video games, plus he gets to work from home full time as well!
Home
IS WHERE
THE HEART IS
Our home in Texas is 2 stories and has a nice sized yard with plenty of room to play. The inside of our home is COLORFUL, HAPPY and WARM.
We live in a neighborhood near great schools, in the middle of a cul de sac full of families with kids. Near us, there’s a top-rated ‘International School’ that teaches in English, Spanish, French and Chinese. We’d love our child to attend here and learn an international curriculum.
Meet Our Dogs
Our pups are a big part of our lives and we cannot wait to share them with a child. They love to play and we know they will be great protectors.
Ellie is an Australian Shepherd mix who Maddy rescued from a dumpster as a puppy. She took Ellie to a rescue shelter, but then couldn’t stop thinking about her. Maddy went back and adopted Ellie the next day!
Cosmo is a mini–Border-Collie mix. He is a very sweet & gentle dog that we rescued in 2022.

IS INTERNATIONAL
We chose to live in Texas to be close to family. We’re incredibly close with Ramsey’s siblings and often hangout together just the six of us. We go to concerts, brunch & sporting matches together often. Ramsey has a very large extended family so it feels like someone is always celebrating a wedding or birthday! Ramsey’s grandparents live in Belgium and it’s an annual tradition to go there during winter and visit them.
Maddy’s family is a lot smaller than Ramsey’s, but she’s really close with her dad who splits his time between Asia & Australia. He visits our home often here and he can’t wait to visit and stay for long periods of time with us, once we have a child. Maddy’s mum is a teacher and lives in Australia in a beach house – which we love to visit during the summer months, which is winter here in the USA! Maddy’s mum is who taught her to read, and she’s excited to read to our future child!

We believe having a solid education will help them be successful in life. Your child would be raised in a family that believes women and men are equals – who both deserve access to the tools and education to fuel their dreams!
They will have a global upbringing, where they will attend top international schools and learn multiple languages. We’re financially prepared and are already investing into their college fund!
AUSTRALIAN CONNECTION by Maddy
My parents are both from down under (Melbourne & Tasmania) and they live in a house right near the beach! We always visit at least once a year and love to go at Christmas because it’s summer there during December! Our child will instantly become an Australian citizen because of my heritage and will have two passports minimum.
EUROPE CONNECTION by Ramsey
Some of my favorite childhood memories are from spending time in Europe visiting family and going to Disneyland Paris. My grandma and grandpa both live in Belgium and visiting them for the holidays is definitely a tradition that we want to continue with our child. Most people in my family speak multiple languages, like Dutch, French or Arabic and we hope that our child will also learn foreign languages too!

We hope to impart the importance of kindness, respect and good values to the child that calls us Mom and Dad. Ramsey hopes to share his love of video games and sports with the child, while Maddy hopes to instill her love of reading and travel.
As long as you are open to it, we’d love to keep in contact with you. We can share letters, texts, and photos of your child’s progress over the years.
