Our love story begins in 2014. I was a busy single mom with 3 children. On my first day as a Property Manager at an apartment complex, Jonathan came into the office. He continued to come in day after day just to visit with me. We became good friends and he offered to tutor my son in Algebra. My children got to know him and considered him family. Jonathan came to all of our family dinners, picnics, and parties. There was always singing, dancing in the kitchen, lots of pratical jokes, all-out nerf wars and sunset walks.
In 2018 Jonathan decided that he was going to ask me to be his bride. The poor guy tried three different times to pop the question. Each time something prevented him from his proposal, but finally he was able to “pop the question” and of course I said yes! We eloped with my children and a few close friends. Even though our ceremony was small, it was filled with so much love and laughter, of course even more silly, good times.

In 2019, Jonathan joined the USAF as a Cardiopulmonary Technician. After six months I More About Us a drove from Oregon to Texas with our two English mastiffs to be with Jonathan. He is currently a Respiratory therapist at the local Military hospital and I am a domestic engineer (homemaker!) In the Spring of 2020, we decided to expand our family by rescuing two additional four-week old puppies. Waking up every two hours for feeding and potty time was hectic, but was a complete blessing. Now we are hopeful and excited for our next journey in life, which would be a baby to share in our love, laughter, thankfulness, and blessings. Thank you for considering us as parents!

My wife is one of the most patient, kind, generous, intelligent, and considerate people I have met. She is patient with me and teaches me more about being a human being and helps me become better than I was the previous day. She always wants to help people and do good things for them, baking cookies, breads, and cakes for my co-workers to indulge in. She loves to make people smile and will “read” people to see what they like so she can surprise them with it when the times comes. She is so intelligent and knowledgeable; even when she doesn’t know something, she doesn’t allow that to hold her back. If she wants to do something, she will never allow that to stop her until it’s completed. She is considerate in all aspects of her true self where she will give and give and give to ensure that other people are happy. She derives happiness and joy from seeing other people smile. To me, she is a gift that I will always hold close.
DO WHAT YOU LOVE,
LOVE WHAT YOU DO
Currently I am a domestic engineer working in Texas (stay at home wife, although I have a Master’s degree in Behavioral Science and an Associates in Criminal Justice). I have raised three children who are successful. A day in my life consists of taking care of the four dogs that we have, cleaning up after them, cooking, cleaning, washing windows, washing floors, baking goods for my husband to take to work, loving every day of my life with the love of my life.

He has an incredible sense of humor! It was his humor that made me want to work with him in every project that we started together. He has a sense of adventure that is driven by complex motives. He is not a whiner; his family will not know what is going on with him until he has resolved it. He is loyal to a fault, he listens to and respects opinions of others, he is a ton of fun, the only person that I truly enjoy watching a movie with, even if it’s scary. He is modest and daring. He has integrity, he is sweet and kind, compassionate, generous, smart, loyal, hardworking, and a perfect shoulder. He is a family man with a great sense of humor, a fierce and strong protector for those that he loves, he follows his heart and does what he knows to be right. He is the most incredible husband and the most incredible father to be. He rocks my world and is one of life’s biggest blessings. Most importantly, he is mine.
DO WHAT YOU LOVE,
LOVE WHAT YOU DO
I am a member of the U.S. Air Force as a certified EKG technician as well as respiratory therapist. They are all excited about our decision to adopt!
BY JONATHAN My side of the family is more serious, sarcastic, and driven to success through education and determination. We love strong and deeply and are loyal to our friends and family.

OUR PARENTING STYLES ARE LOVE, SELF DISCIPLINE, AND UNDERSTANDING. As the child matures and develops, we will teach how to be respectful of others and to themselves. They will learn loyalty and individuality. As our child grows we would need to change the way we approach the child to allow him or her to grow as a healthy individual while still guiding him/her toward core values. We don’t expect the child to be perfect, he/she is allowed to make mistakes as that is how you learn and grow. We have an authoritative parenting style which allows us to have an open relationship with the child while still being able to retain our role as parents.
OUR FINAL THOUGHTS
Thank you so much for reading our profile. We hope that it has given you a glimpse into our lives and shown you the love that we have to share with your child. We have so much respect for you and your decisions to consider an open adoption for your child. Becoming parents together has always been a dream of ours. We are so excited to open our hearts and our home to your child through adoption and cannot wait for that day to come. Please know that if you choose us to be the parents of your child, he or she will be loved abundantly and unconditionally. They will be given every opportunity in life to pursue their dreams and reach for the stars. We wish you the best as you journey through the adoption process and decide what is best for you and your child. You will continue to be in our prayers and hope to meet you someday soon.
