Joe and Dina
Hi!
- WE ARE -
DINA
AND JOE
from NEW YORK
We have many blessings in our life but the one we have always dreamed of was BEING PARENTS.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking your time to LEARN ABOUT US.
DEAR EXPECTANT
PARENTS
After numerous unsuccessful infertility treatments and a lot of thought we knew we did not want to give up our dream of being parents. We know that this will be an incredibly difficult decision, and we are honored that you would consider us. We would be open to all types of relationships between you, your child and ourselves. We hope to be the ones to help create a wonderful, safe, and loving home for your child. If we are chosen to adopt your child, he or she will be raised to know the values of love, respect, faith, and kindness.
- THE STORY -
OF US
We were introduced at a wedding in December of 2015 and knew right away that we loved spending time together. We spent most of the reception sitting next to each other talking. We got engaged in August 2017 at a restaurant on the water. We knew we wanted to start a family right away so we got married in November of 2017.
We are best friends and we love spending time TO G ET H E R whether it's with friends and family or with each other.
When we aren’t working we enjoy going to the movies, trying new restaurants, going to baseball games, relaxing at the beach, taking our beagle, Jax, for walks and traveling. Some of the wonderful places we have visited together are Charleston, New Orleans, Philadelphia, California, Belgium, Iceland, Ireland and Aruba. Every year we enjoy going into New York City at Christmas time to see the Rockefeller Christmas Tree and all of the window displays. In the fall, we love to go apple picking and pumpkin picking. We look forward to having a child one day who we can share our traditions with.
About
DINA
- By Joe -
Dina is a genuine and loving person. She brings out the best in me. She loves to cook and bake. One of my favorite baked goods are the flourless chocolate peanut butter brownies she makes. She is dedicated to her work and helps her students to always achieve their potential. I’m most impressed by her love for her family. She exemplifies this whenever she is around her nephews. They especially love going on road trips with her. Dina loves to read and exercise. She also likes to relax at the beach with her friends. When Dina sets her mind on something she follows through till it’s completed.
Making a difference
while working
Education has always been important to me. I went to college and graduate school and have a degree in special education. Ever since I was a little girl I dreamed of becoming a teacher. I continue to pursue my dream and am currently a middle school special education teacher. I continue to love teaching and enjoy making a difference in my students’ lives. A great benefit to being a teacher is having many vacations and off the entire summer. It gives me extra time to spend with family and friends.
About
JOE
- By Dina -
Joe is a kind, generous and loving person. One of Joes’ best qualities is his ability to say or do something to make me laugh. Anytime Joe is on the phone with his sisters all I hear is laughter on the other end because he has the same effect on them. Joe is extremely hardworking whether it is at work, tending to his garden or fixing things around the house. Joe loves to watch baseball and football games. He is excited to teach our child all about them. One of the most interesting things I learned about Joe when I met him was that he bought a cactus in 2003, he named it Spike, and it lives with us today.
I work for a large hospital
in the Radiology IT department
I always enjoyed using computers and technology and thought that it would be great if I could do that as a career. The healthcare field is an ever changing environment that challenges me to stay up to date with knowledge and continue to further my love for technology. Working for a hospital also allows me to indirectly help with patient care. That is a wonderful feeling and a great motivation while working.
Our Home
AND
Community
We love living in New York!
We live in a single-family home on a quiet block in a suburb of New York. We have a large fenced in backyard with lots of room to play. It’s nice to have family that lives nearby so we can all be together for holidays or during the summer for barbecues. Our neighborhood is familyoriented and there are always children playing outside and riding their bikes. We live close to the beach, parks, and a quick train ride to New York City. One of the great benefits of our town is that it is part of an award-winning school district.
- OUR -
DOG Jax
Jax is our beagle that Joe rescued from a a local animal shelter before we met. Joe rescued him when he was just 11 months old. Dina fell in love with him as soon as he laid on her lap. Jax has a friendly and playful personality that really makes him unique. He loves his treats but his favorite is a piece of bread. He gets along great with everyone and children love to play with him.

THE PEOPLE WE LOVE
DINA has one brother and two nephews. We love spending time with them whether it’s playing board games, going to see a Broadway show, or just watching a movie with them. We have gone on family vacations with them to Hershey Park and Kalahari Water Park. Dina’s parents still live in the home she grew up in, and we love to go visit them and spend time together.
JOE is the youngest of 9 children. He has 4 brothers and 4 sisters. He has been around children almost his whole life. He became an uncle at the age of 5. He now has 15 nieces and nephews. He always enjoyed watching and playing with them as young children and now enjoys spending time with them as young adults and adults.
- Family is -
everything!
Our family and friends are very important to us. We are fortunate to have a loving and supportive family and group of friends. We love spending time with them whether it’s celebrating a holiday, birthday party or just getting together on the weekend to watch a movie or barbecue.
