We can’t even imagine all of the feelings you have right now but we want you to know that we think you are such a strong, brave and courageous woman to make an adoption plan for your child. We have been thinking of you and hope that you have lots of love and support as you make this important decision in your life. If given the opportunity, we hope that we are able to meet with you. We truly believe that what you are doing is the most loving act anyone could do for their child and simply want you to know that from the bottom of our hearts. We hope this little book gives you the opportunity to learn about us.
HOW WE MET
We met 22 years ago in college. Neither of us really thought we’d end up together but life has a funny way of making things work out. Margie says that one of the things she will always keep close to her heart is how Daniel makes her laugh. As you can see, we always choose to have fun. We even had a wedding cake fight- Margie knew it was coming as Daniel’s family warned her. We have been married for 16 1/2 years and have had so many lovely experiences including living in various cities and even in the countryside.

TOGETHER
Although our inability to have biological children has been difficult, the greatest gift in our life was the day we met Dominic, our son who we adopted in 2020.
We can never truly express our thanks to his birth mother and birth family who we continue to include in his life. We always dreamed of having more than one child and are hopeful to expand our family and give Dominic the brother or sister that he wishes for. Your brave decision of adoption will be a precious gift to our family.

MARGIE

Margie is an incredibly warm, smart, and loving person. She has wanted to be a mom for as long as I can remember and she has been an amazing mom to Dominic. She is a great teacher and a great mother. She is always finding new and fun activities to do with Dominic and I know she will do the same for your child. One day it might be playing in the park, another day it might be making something together in the kitchen.
No matter what, she will always be loving and put the needs of your son/daughter first. She has always supported and helped me and is a great friend who always listens to the needs of others. Margie is caring and sensitive and I have seen the way her students trust her and just how much Dominic loves his mommy. All of these qualities are why I know you can be confident that your child will have a great mom!

Margie was a high school science teacher for about thirteen years before she became a stay-at-home mother. She has devoted her time to raising Dominic full-time and it brings her so much joy. She will be a full-time mother with the addition of your child. Every day is filled with playing and learning together. Being with her children is the most important thing to her.

Daniel is loving, caring, and supportive. He is a good friend and there for me when things are difficult. Daniel is intelligent but also knows when to have fun. He is loyal and protective. He is the most amazing dad to Dominic. I love watching him read stories and play funny games with him. Daddy and Dominic time is precious, especially bedtime snuggles.
Daniel will also teach your child important values like education and persisting through challenges. Family life is very important to Daniel, so your child will always come first. After adopting Dominic, I can truly say that fatherhood brings Daniel complete joy and satisfaction in the world-your child will be nurtured and loved unconditionally. To this day, watching him be a dad brings tears of joy to my eyes.

Daniel works for a health care foundation that gives grants to help those in need. He likes his job because it allows him to make a difference and help other people. He manages a group of 20 people and together they are a strong team that enjoys working together. Daniel has always found it important to do work that tries to support and serve others.
- BIG BROTHER -
Dominic
DOMINIC IS OUR ADOPTED SON WHO WAS BORN IN 2020.
We met him a few hours after he was born and he is truly the light of our lives! He is the sweetest loving boy who enjoys teaching everyone about construction sites and cars. We know he will be the best big brother as he loves and snuggles his stuffed animals each day. We have been telling him about his new brother or sister and he’s so excited to meet them.

HOME TO US IS IN THE GREAT STATE OF NEW YORK.
We live in a neighborhood next to water and after a busy day of work, we love to relax with the windows open hearing the water splash and the seagulls squawk. We love going on walks in our neighborhood where there are lots of nice paths and playgrounds. There are many libraries and we love going to storytime, arts and crafts, and playtime with other children. We love experiencing all seasons at our home and look forward to playing in the snow and building snowmen, jumping in leaves, playing in water when it gets hot, and taking walks to see all the flowers blossom in the spring.

Both of us have many siblings which means many aunts and uncles. Margie was born in Poland and has three sisters. Her family is very close and holds the Polish culture close to their heart. One of Margie’s favorite foods are pierogis and she looks forward to having Grandma (Baba) help her make them from scratch with your child. Grandpa (Dziadzia) will love playing with your child and introducing them to his beloved black lab and taking walks. Daniel comes from a strong Italian and Irish family. He has two sisters and two brothers. Grandma (Mum) will love teaching your child how to make the best lasagna and meat loaf in the world. Your child will also have cousins on both sides of the family as well as many furry animal companions. Our entire family is excited about the addition of a new child- you can be assured that everyone is ready to celebrate your little one! Aunties and Uncles have gifts ready and Daniel’s sister who is a librarian is excited to introduce your child to a world of books, reading, and imagination.

Our journey of becoming parents to Dominic has been such a humbling experience. Our hearts are so full of joy and anticipation to welcome a child into our house. There is nothing more important to us than growing our family and sharing our love with your child. Knowing that you may be our path in this journey is incredibly special for us. Our dreams in parenting include providing unconditional love, support, and safety for your child. We hope to nurture your child and help them grow in all the talents and interests that they will have as they grow.
We intend on sharing with them the love God has for them and how much they are loved by you. We promise to let him/her know the strong woman that carried them before they knew us. We look forward to sharing life with them and creating amazing experiences for them. We promise to give them the best opportunities for happiness and success in their life. As much as you are willing, we promise to provide you with updates and pictures as you desire.
