We want to say THANK YOU! from the deepest part of our hearts for choosing adoption for your child.
- DEAR -
We are truly humbled as you consider us for your child’s adoptive family. We have nothing but compassion for you as we imagine the overwhelming emotions and difficult decisions you’ve faced so far on your journey, and we hope that we can offer you support the rest of the way.
Our hearts ache for another child. Over the past few years we have been met with only loss and grief while trying to expand our family. Adoption has always been part of our discussion and we are so excited to grow our family in this way. Your child would be the biggest blessing we could ever receive. We could never fully express our gratitude for the amazing sacrifice you are making, not only for them, but for us as well.
Again, THANK YOU for taking the time to get to know us. We hope that you are able to catch a glimpse of our lives in these next few pages and that you can see the life you dream of for your sweet boy or girl.
We are a loving, nurturing, SILLY family who aren’t afraid to be ourselves; we love to laugh and have fun together. Whether we’re traveling the world or building a fort in the living room, the most important thing for us is to make lasting memories with our children. Our lives aren’t perfect and neither are we, but we are committed to loving our family and being there for each other.
How We Became a Family
We met by chance at church nine years ago and quickly became best friends through our shared values, senses of humor, and love of food. People joke that we were dating before we even knew it, and Brandon was definitely the last one to catch on. Eventually he got the hint and we were married in 2015. Our son Levi was born in 2017, and he is the greatest treasure we could imagine. He can’t wait to be a big brother and we are so excited to add another tiny human to our family!
Our faith is an essential part of our everyday lives. We will raise our children to know God and to know He loves them. We also know the importance of exposing them to other faiths and world views so they can develop their own belief systems as they grow.
Our church community is made up of a loving and diverse group of people who we consider part of our extended family.

Rachel is an incredible wife and mother to our family. What I love most about her is her calm demeanor, her generous heart, and how she goes the extra mile to help those in need. Daily life for Rachel includes taking our son to activities such as gym class, story time at the local library, or playdates with family and friends. She also loves bringing him along for weekly grocery and Target runs.
Rachel also enjoys doing things alone to recharge. I am the complete opposite so our personalities provide a great balance to our family! She enjoys uncovering new hidden food and coffee spots, diving into a good book, and working on creative house projects. She is definitely the “handy” one in the family, and if something is broken, she can fix it!
MY DAY (& NIGHT) JOB:

B randon is a total goofball and loves making people laugh. He is literally never sitting still (unless he’s watching football) and is always running, jumping, singing with, or otherwise entertaining our son. He loves living a healthy lifestyle whether it’s eating his freshly fermented foods, or carving some time out to go cycling.
What I love most about him is his humble spirit, strong moral character, and sense of humor. No matter how mad I am at him, he can always get me to crack a smile. He loves to entertain us with various impressions, and dinner clean up is guaranteed to include him serenading us at the top of his lungs in his ear-splitting singing voice.

O ur home is open and filled with sunshine. It’s on a quiet dirt road surrounded by woods with a large, private backyard perfect for running around and growing vegetables. We also love the variety of living close to charming villages and diverse city centers.
We take full advantage of the changing seasons here. From swimming, to apple picking, to sleigh riding, there is always an outdoor adventure to be had.

It does take a village to raise a child! We are very fortunate to live close to most of our extended family and they are always willing to support us at the drop of a hat.
Rachel’s two sisters are her best friends. Her father was a science teacher and her mom was a stay at home mom who instilled the importance of family and making sacrifices for your children. Her family loves to meet up at their childhood home and enjoy activities such as fishing at the neighboring lake, playing yard games, and picking produce from their giant vegetable garden and fruit trees.
Family dinners are an essential part of our everyday life and we enjoy sitting down every night together over a home cooked meal.
It is also important to us to incorporate your traditions and cultural heritage into our lives at every opportunity.
Traditions are a huge part of our family and holidays are always spent together. Brandon’s family owns a small house in Rhode Island about half a mile from the beach, and you will always find us crammed in there on the 4th of July eating clams we harvested ourselves. On Christmas Eve, they have a huge party where Santa (Papa) always makes an appearance. Christmas days are spent in much the same way on both sides of the family – with food and togetherness, and sometimes matching pajamas. Rachel’s family gathers at their vacation home in the Outer Banks, NC throughout the year, spending time fishing on the beach and enjoying nightly board games. We look forward to the added joy your child will bring to these special times.
