Hi there! We’re so thankful you’re taking the time to get to know us. We fell in love in 2013 and now, eleven years later, we’re ready to grow our family. Jesse loves to bake and entertain our family for Sunday dinners. Whether it is around the corner in Brooklyn or halfway around the world, Jesse always finds beauty in his travels. Jesse is the most caring, attentive, and calming man I’ve ever met, and after a decade, I know he’s going to make such a wonderful Dad; he’s certainly been telling Dad jokes for as long as I’ve known him!

He makes sure to keep his mind and body active by improving his tennis game, reading books from all over the world and writing stories of his own.
I love Miguel’s keen mind and his creative spirit. He’s a detail-oriented planner who’s fiercely loyal to his family and friends. He can also be very silly and loving and can makes me collapse in laughter on a daily basis. Living with him and watching him with the children in our lives, it leaves no doubt in my mind that he will be an excellent father.

We live in a vibrant, diverse and safe community in New York City with lots of families and people of all ages and cultures living together. Jesse’s brother and sister-in-law live right down the street from us, and we’re surrounded by old and new friends and their children, who we see frequently, and can’t wait for a new friend in the neighborhood. We’re right near wonderful parks, libraries and museums. Our building has lots of families and couples living in it, and we have great relationships with our neighbors.

Thanks again for taking the time to consider us for this enormous decision. Our child will know that we will always be there for them, to cheer them on during soccer games, admire every craft and doodle they make for us, and pick them up when they fall off their bike. They will know that anything they dream is possible, and that they will always have their Dads to help them grow and learn and love and be loved.
Education and passion are so important to both of us, and we plan to make both a cornerstone of our parenting. We look forward to days spent hiking in nature, afternoons in fantastic museums and parks, and nights making delicious meals while sharing our favorite books and movies, surrounded by a wonderful “village” of supportive family and friends.
