After years of trying to grow our family naturally and through IVF, we realized our path to parenthood was meant to look different. Adoption now feels like the truest next step for us. We both come from big, loving families where traditions, laughter, and togetherness are part of everyday life. Maximo grew up in Dobbs Ferry, New York, alongside his older brother and younger sister. Friends and family describe him as caring, loyal, outgoing, protective, patient, respectful, and hardworking. Qualities he looks forward to bringing into fatherhood. Being raised in a family that did everything together taught him the importance of loyalty, kindness, and always showing up for others. With generations of firefighters in his family, helping people has always felt like part of who he is. He joined the volunteer fire department at 17 and served for 16 years before moving to Connecticut, where he now helps others reach their financial goals in wealth management. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, golfing, hiking, mini golfing with Christine, and snuggling with their dogs.

Christine was raised in Dobbs Ferry, New York by her mom and a large, loving extended family. She is very close with her two sisters and adores her five nieces and nephews, who have given her a deep appreciation for the joy children bring. Those who know her describe her as kind, loving, gentle, dependable, warm, loyal, and patient. Qualities she holds deeply. Growing up surrounded by unwavering support taught her how important it is to feel safe, accepted, and loved for exactly who you are. With such a caring heart, she has devoted her entire career to assisted living, sharing compassion with seniors every day. Outside of work, she loves walking with Maximo and their dogs, traveling, and creating a warm, welcoming home for family gatherings.

MEET OUR DOGS
Lily and Eva are our two sweet rescue dogs that bring so much joy and personality to our home. Lily is gentle, affectionate, and always ready for a belly rub, while Eva is playful and goofy. They love giving kisses and love being curled up next to us. Their favorite moments are family walks, playing in the yard, and snuggling. Lily and Eva can’t wait to become big sisters and share their love with a child. We also have a colorful fish tank that adds a calming touch to our home.
OUR HOME & COMMUNITY
We live in a warm, welcoming split-level home in Norwalk, Connecticut, a diverse and family-oriented community filled with opportunities for children to explore and grow. Our house is bright, cozy, and always ready for celebration. We love decorating for every holiday and hosting big family gatherings where laughter fills the rooms. The fenced backyard is perfect for playing, and we’re just minutes from wonderful family attractions like the aquarium, children’s museum, beach, mini golf, and local parks. We’ve built a life rooted in love, stability, and joy, and we’re excited to welcome a child into a home and neighborhood where they will always feel safe, supported, and deeply cherished.
