Meet Jeff and Stacy, a loving couple from Louisiana who are excited to grow their family through adoption. Married for 21 years, they have built a warm, faith-centered home filled with laughter, family traditions, animals, and time spent together. With two older children who are equally excited to welcome a new sibling, Jeff and Stacy hope to provide a child with unconditional love, stability, encouragement, and a strong sense of belonging as an approved waiting adoptive family with Adoption Alliance.

We’ve talked about adoption for many years, and it means so much to finally share our family with you! We’ve been married for 21 years and are Texans at heart- that’s where our families call home. After much prayer, we know now is the perfect time to grow our family. We’re in a season of life with the experience and stability that come from raising a child, and just as much excitement to do it all again! We can’t wait to have big Southern family dinners, hear squeals filling the home again, and share all the joyful, messy moments that come with parenthood.

Stacy knew early on she wanted to marry Jeff because he’d be an amazing dad. He’s a man of faith and serves as an elder at the church. He’s also a former teacher/coach, but now has a job that gives him three-day weekends with his family. Jeff is steady and calm. He looks serious at first, but he’s really a big kid at heart. At 43, he still loves playing on the floor with kids, telling goofy jokes, and turning movie credits into dance parties. He also likes working in the yard and making homemade soap and bread. Jeff wants you to know that your child will always have a father who listens, protects fiercely, and loves unconditionally.

Stacy is a natural nurturer. Jeff jokes that if he can’t find her, she’s off somewhere with a child or animal. She loves gardening, cooking enough food to feed an army, and especially being a mom. At 39, she has the energy and experience to jump back into motherhood. Stacy has a degree in special education and, after many years as a teacher, now works remotely. This gives her the flexibility to make family a priority. Stacy knows every child is fearfully and wonderfully made and delights in who God created them to be. She is known for creating silly traditions and fun surprises. Stacy wants you to know your child will never have to earn her love. They’ll be cherished exactly as they are.

Jonas is 19 and away at college studying electrical engineering. He loves technology, but he’s an old soul at heart. He’s been one of our biggest supporters of the adoption journey and is excited to teach a little one to play piano, share his favorite dance moves, and offer lifelong support. He wanted you to know this: “My mom and dad have been amazing parents to me, and my childhood was filled with tons of love and support. Growing up, they were always there for me, and they still are. They’ll be that same steady support for your child. Thank you for considering this family. We are thrilled at the prospect of having another sibling to be a cherished part of our lives. Sadie is 15 years old and can’t wait to be a big sister. She has such a huge heart! She is an extrovert and brings so much laughter into any situation. She loves running, babysitting, crocheting, drawing, writing, growing plants, and caring for chickens. She’s always singing, so we know a child here will grow up surrounded by music! When we told Sadie we were adopting, she immediately burst into happy tears. She’s already making plans to teach her little sibling to crochet, build epic LEGO towers, and cheer them on in everything they do. She is brave, outspoken, and wonderfully protective of the ones she loves. She’s excited for all the fun, advice, and big-sister moments ahead.

MEET OUR PETS

Animals are such a fun part of this family! We have one spoiled indoor cat, Cassius, who believes the house belongs to him but is very sweet. Our two dogs, Bruno and Otis, love spending their days exploring the property and snuggling up at night. We also have several free-ranging chickens that keep us stocked with fresh eggs. Every spring, we incubate our own chicks, which has become one of our favorite family traditions. Your child will grow up with plenty of opportunities to learn the compassion and responsibility that comes with caring for God’s creatures.

OUR HOME & COMMUNITY

We live on several acres where there’s plenty of room to run and explore. We want our home to be a place where childhood can simply be childhood. Living here means watching wildlife, riding granddaddy’s golfcart around, and spending evenings outside with the fireflies and frogs. We are only 15 minutes from a larger city with parks, restaurants, and community events.

At our house, you’ll find backyard bonfires, plenty of homesteading, lots of get-togethers with friends, and some fun traditions like Taco Tuesdays and Family Karaoke Night. We’re blessed with four Texas grandparents just across the state line, a wonderful church community, and plenty of friends and family close by.
