There’s nothing in life I love more than being a mom, and getting to parent with Jason – my husband & best friend – is a dream. My family and my faith are the most important things to me. Madison is a force of nature! We adopted Madi in 2017, and she has kept us laughing and on our toes ever since! She is smart, fiery, passionate about what she believes, and has a huge heart. She wants to be an orthopedic surgeon when she grows up, and is very interested in science and languages. She loves to play piano, go to ballet classes, read, cook, and travel. Madi loves her family, and is an incredible big sister – she enjoys making up fun games, teaching her siblings new things, and caring for them.

Ta’mia is the bubbliest, most kind-hearted girl you’ll ever meet. She is generous and sweet, and her smile and laugh are incredible. Ta’mia has a tenacious side though, too – she will push through tough things like a champ! T loves music and is taking piano lessons – she has a beautiful voice, as well. Ta’mia also loves playing outside and camping. We joke that she might be a park ranger someday! She is an amazing helper and always wants to be right next to you, doing whatever it is you’re doing. We love her with all our hearts.

Seneca is our spunky whirlwind of a girl! She is full of energy, and you’ll usually find her doing cartwheels around the house or flipping into a handstand. She is very athletic, and enjoys swim and dance. Seneca also has a sensitive side, and is very nurturing. Seneca likes dressing up, playing outside, creating art, playing with dolls, and watching her favorite movies. But more than anything, she loves animals! Her dream is to own a farm when she grows up. From the day we adopted her in 2018, Seneca has been a source of love and joy in our family.

We adopted Atticus in 2022 and he has done nothing but bring everyone around him joy ever since. He is the friendliest, happiest little person I’ve ever met. He loves to dance, laugh, explore, chase his sisters, and snuggle with the dogs. His favorite things in the world are dogs, actually. He is affectionate, and is so excited to give everyone hugs. He is a busy guy, but he’s also a great snuggler! And he is a class clown in training! Making his sisters laugh is his goal in life right now. He makes hearts happy everywhere he goes.
OUR HOME & COMMUNITY
We live in a large, historic home in a rural area (but not far from a city), right across from a beautiful horse farm. We have about 7 acres – a mix of fenced in yard, woods with trails, and meadow. The house is full of music and books are everywhere. It’s a great house for playing hide and seek or curling up to read in front of the fireplace. We are surrounded by close friends and a supportive church that we’re very involved in. Best of all, our families live nearby, and the kids see grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins constantly.

We have three much-loved pets! Charlie is a 3 year old retriever mix. She is a giant baby who wants to be pet all the time. Maia is a 4 year old collie mix, who is convinced the kids are her puppies. She is so sweet and protective. Missy is our 15 year old cat. She’s an old lady, but she still gets around and loves to snuggle.
