We are so grateful to have this opportunity!

Our path to adoption has been deeply personal, marked by years of hope, reflection, and preparation. As a couple, we have always cherished the belief that family is among life’s greatest gifts, holding onto the hope that everything happens for a reason. After years of unsuccessfully trying to grow our family naturally and through international adoption, we are now certain that our journey involves expanding our family closer to home. We genuinely believe that it is love that makes a family and are eager to provide your child not only with unconditional love but a home brimming with fun, laughter, adventures, and guidance, laying the foundation for a beautiful life ahead.

Rooted in my upbringing as an only child, the importance of both friendship and family has shaped my identity, nurturing genuine, loyal connections that have stood the test of time. With a love of teaching and passion for helping others, I am always willing to offer support whether it is serving as a coach on a youth flag football team or helping a friend renovate their basement. As an engineer, with a knack for creativity, I love dreaming up fun ways to entertain and educate, encouraging imagination in children. I’m excited to foster this same adventurous spirit that made my childhood so memorable. I always look forward to the opportunity to participate in traditions such as the annual Turkey Bowl or lively games of pickleball, softball, or soccer.

FAV HOLIDAY

Christmas
Balancing faith, family, friends, and football defines my life. I am fortunate to work for a company that truly prioritizes work-life balance while working from home, allowing me to maximize time with loved ones. I cherish any time spent with my large family of brothers, favorite aunts, fun uncles, and cousins galore. My extended family gathers in Texas or Louisiana a couple times a year for quality time spent together puzzling, playing board games, and enjoying time in the local park. While I am a sucker for a good book, there is nothing quite like soaking in the excitement of a ball game. Whether cheering on my favorite team from the living room, rooting for friends’ children in the bleachers, or joining in the game myself, it never fails to uplift my spirits and brighten my day.

OUR PETS

MEET OUR DOG, RANGER

Ranger, named after Abby’s favorite MLB team, is our well-loved and extremely spoiled, five-year-old Blue Heeler. Ranger is the most loyal pup to those who are a part of our pack. Always excited to join us on a hike, he also loves any opportunity to snuggle on the couch and simply be with his people. Being a foodie, he cannot wait for the day when a child begins dropping food on the floor for him and another backyard play buddy.

OUR HOME & COMMUNITY

With three hundred days of sunshine and the stunning Rocky Mountains, Colorado provides an ideal backdrop for raising children. Its natural beauty and accepting community foster a sense of wonder, curiosity, and appreciation. Nestled between Colorado Springs and Denver, our family filled neighborhood provides playgrounds, park movie nights, an abundance of playmates, including close friends, and ample opportunities for family bonding. During the warmer months, our family is a familiar sight on softball fields, enjoying ice cream at the local shop, or attending concerts and sporting events. Winter evenings are reserved for cozy dinners and spirited game nights with friends, creating cherished memories. Whether skiing in winter or hiking mountains and meadows in summer, we frequent David’s parents’ condo near the local ski resort, our beloved “staycation” spot.

THANK YOU

FOR CONSIDERING US

Our desire to adopt is not simply about fulfilling our dreams of parenthood; but opening our hearts and lives to a child, offering overwhelming love, support, and guidance. We have not only prepared our hearts for this transition but have poured thought and care into our home for years to welcome a child. As such, we are committed to providing your child with comfort, endless opportunities, and a nurturing environment surrounded by loved ones who will stand by them through thick and thin. Honesty and openness are the cornerstones of our parenting style, creating a space for your child to feel safe to be themselves, encouraging them to share their joys and worries without hesitation. Your decision is one of incredible courage and love, and we are deeply moved by it. Your selflessness will forever shape our journey as parents, and you will always be cherished in both our hearts and your baby’s heart as the hero of this new chapter. We’re eager to embrace whatever level of openness feels right for you, whether it’s through letters, photos, or even visits in person. Our hope is to build a relationship that enriches your child’s life and honors your role in it and we hope you are able to celebrate as they continue to grow and develop into a child and adult you will be proud of. Your decision, whatever it may be, will always be cherished in our hearts, and you and your support system will remain in our thoughts and prayers. David and Abby
