We met through mutual friends in 2003 and have been married since 2007. Becoming parents has always been one of our dreams. Unfortunately, our journey to parenthood has proven to be long and difficult. Through it all we have remained committed to each other and our goal of becoming parents. We look forward to the day we are able to provide a child with a safe and secure home that is filled with laughter, unconditional love and unwavering support. I am a loving, intelligent and compassionate person who is dedicated to my family and friends. I grew up in a small town in upstate New York and have one younger brother. I went to college and law school in New York City and am employed as a Managing Director in the New York City offices of the largest professional services firm in the world. I am fortunate to be able to work remotely from our home in upstate New York, which allows me to spend significant time with Meghan and Archie while being closer to each of our families. I enjoy spending time with our family and friends, traveling, dining out, and watching professional sports. I look forward to sharing these activities with a child.

I am the oldest of four children, and because of this, caring for children has always been second nature to me. I worked as an elementary school teacher in the New York City public school system for seventeen years, where I learned patience, appreciation of differences and how to navigate challenging behaviors. Nature, animals, and children are where I find my joy. I share my love of horses with special needs children by volunteering with a local therapeutic riding program. I enjoy creating a cozy and inviting home and decorate our house for each season. I enjoy making homecooked meals, baking, and hosting family and friends. I cannot wait for the day I am able to share my love and home with a child.
OUR PETS
MEET OUR DOG
We have a two-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Archie. Cavaliers were bred to be companion dogs, and true to the breed, he is the embodiment of pure love and joy. He loves everyone he meets, especially children! He has excellent manners and is a great traveler. Archie loves daily walks to the lake, boat rides, shopping trips, outdoor dining and playing fetch on the beach. He will be an amazing playmate for a child.
OUR HOME & COMMUNITY
Our beautiful Victorian home is located in the quaint Village of Hammondsport, NY. Our close-knit lake community boasts historic homes, tree lined streets and friendly neighbors. The main attraction is the stunning Keuka Lake, which is a few blocks away. We spend many summer days on the lake in our boat and regularly take walks to Depot Park to enjoy the view from the head of the lake. The Village square hosts many fun family events throughout the year. We are in walking distance of all amenities that the Village has to offer, including restaurants, a pharmacy, florist, salon, bakery, grocery store, veterinarian, post office and shops. The top-rated school in the county is only a block away and offers a large playground, track, athletic fields, and tennis/pickleball courts. We absolutely love our community that was voted “The Coolest Small Town in America”. It is an amazing location to raise a child.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about our family! Becoming parents has been a lifelong dream of ours. Unfortunately, our journey to parenthood has been longer and more complicated than we could have ever imagined. We have endured years of unsuccessful treatments for unexplained infertility, multiple pregnancy losses and the devastation of having an international adoption suspended due to war. Despite our difficulties with building a family, we have held onto hope with the belief that everything happens for a reason. We know it has made our seventeen-year marriage stronger than ever and we look forward to providing a loving, stable and nurturing home for a child who will become the center of our Universe!
We understand that you are faced with an extremely difficult and emotional decision. We respect and admire you for doing what you feel is in the best interest of your child.
