At the Adoption Alliance, we know that every situation is different. We use our decades of experience as a non-profit licensed adoption agency to create an individualized adoption plan tailor to your situation. Whether you’re pregnant and curious about adoption or you’re hoping to welcome a new baby into your family, the Adoption Alliance can help you navigate the process and provide support and guidance along the way.
If you’re decided that adoption is the best way forward for you and the baby, the Adoption Alliance is here to help, no matter how far along you are in your pregnancy.
Birth mothers are encouraged to choose the adoptive family for the baby by looking through our Waiting Family profiles. If you’d rather we choose a deserving family for you, we’re happy to do so. Rest assured that all of our families go through extensive background checks and are all ready to provide a safe and loving home to the baby.
The Adoption Alliance is a licensed adoption agency so we are able to provide many types of support to our birth mothers. Every situation is different but you may be eligible for financial assistance with food, rent, utilities, and clothing as well as trips to the grocery store or transportation to and from doctor appointments.
We can also help cover medical expenses from prenatal to antepartum care if Medicaid or insurance do not apply to your situation. If you need a doctor, we can help you find one. We also coordinate all legal services for you and can refer you to a counselor who specializes in adoption support if you feel you need more help to heal.
All of our services are free to you and we assure you that everything is handled with 100% confidentiality.
The Adoption Alliance also provides support to those families who have made the decision to adopt. If you’re ready to take the next step, we can refer you to agencies to get your home visit completed quickly so you can be put on our waiting list as soon as possible.
Once you’ve been accepted into the agency, we’ll help you create an online profile to help birth mothers get to know more about you and why your home would be a safe, loving place for the baby. We can facilitate communication between you and the birth mother when needed and keep you up to date with health information and prenatal doctor appointment summaries and help you plan for birth and relinquishment.
