The Adoption Alliance is a non-profit organization that’s been operating since 1989. Our goal is to create happy families and we achieve that by providing support to birth mothers interested in putting their babies up for adoption as well as our hopeful adoptive families. We have decades of experience and understand that every situation is different. That’s why we create a personalized adoption plan for every case. An adoption professional is available around the clock to help so reach out for assistance at any time. We promise 100% confidentiality and will respect your privacy throughout the process.
Some birth mothers are sure that adoption is the right choice while others need more information before they make up their minds. No matter where you are in your pregnancy, it’s always a good time to reach out for assistance. If you need additional support, we can refer you to a qualified counselor. We also make sure you have the legal representation you need so you know your parental rights throughout the process.
The Adoption Alliance can provide financial assistance to birth mothers, too, depending on the circumstances. If you need help with rent, groceries, utilities, or transportation, we can help by providing gift cards, gas money, bus passes, rental assistance, and more.
If you’re worried about medical expenses, we can help with that, too. We’ll help you find a doctor if you don’t already have one and make sure your expenses from prenatal care through delivery and postpartum care are covered.
We’ll also help you find state and federal programs you may qualify for and assist you with filling out and submitting the applications.
The Adoption Alliance also helps you choose an adoptive family. We have adoptive family profiles so you can choose one that seems like a good fit. If you aren’t comfortable choosing, we can do it for you. Just know that all of our adoptive families are thoroughly screened and excited to welcome a new baby into their homes.
We provide support for our adoptive families, too, including referring you to a social worker who can complete your home visit so you can get on our waiting list sooner. We can also help you create your adoptive parents profile and guide you through the process of waiting for a match and facilitate communication with the birth mother.
After placement, we can refer adoptive parents to a social worker for the supervisory visit. We also collect the necessary reports required to complete the adoption process and file for the amended birth certificate to really make the adoption official.
