If you would rather we choose a family for you, you can rest assure that we’ll pick a safe, loving home. All of our waiting families are carefully screened and will make loving homes. You can still choose whether you want a closed or open adoption.
You and your baby’s health are very important. Because we are a licensed agency, we can provide a wide range of financial assistance. In some situations, if you need help paying rent, utilities, cell phone bills, or buying clothing, we can help.
If you don’t have a doctor, we can help you find one and help you get to your appointments. If insurance or Medicaid is not available, we also provide assistance for medical expenses, including prenatal care, hospital delivery, and postpartum.
We know that adoption is a difficult decision and we want you to know you’re not alone. If you need additional support, we can refer you to a qualified counselor and we coordinate your legal services so there’s one less thing to worry about. Plus, all of our services are at no cost to you.
The Adoption Alliance is also a great resource for adoptive families. We can help you coordinate your home study with a qualified social worker so you can get on our waiting list as soon as possible. You’re invited to create a family profile that gives you the opportunity to tell birth mothers about yourself.
Once you are matched with a birth parent(s), we are available to facilitate communication between you and the birth mother throughout the pregnancy and when it comes time for delivery. After placement, we collect the records and reports necessary to finalize the adoption and file for the amended birth certificate, signifying the end of the adoption journey.
