We are a non-profit licensed adoption agency that provides support for birth mothers and adoptive families throughout the entire adoption process. If you’re not sure where to start or how to take the next step, our caring staff is available 24/7 to help. The Adoption Alliance has been creating happy families for decades. We know that every situation is different and use our experience to put together a plan that works best for you and the baby.
We know that taking care of the birth mother is one of the most important parts of the adoption process. No matter where you are in your pregnancy, the Adoption Alliance is here to assist you in any way we can.
Because we are a licensed adoption agency, we are able to provide a variety of financial support. Depending on the situation, we can provide assistance with living expenses, housing costs, transportation expenses, and more.
If you don’t already have a doctor, we can help you find one and can even help with medical costs if insurance and Medicaid are not available. Plus, we’ll help make sure you have a way to get to and from all of your appointments.
There are also several state and federal programs that you may qualify for, including HUD, WIC, and food stamps. We can help you figure out what you’re eligible for as well as assist you through the application process.
Deciding to put your baby up for adoption can be a difficult decision. We give you the opportunity to choose the baby’s adoptive home from our family profiles but are happy to make the decision for you. All of these families have been through screenings and background checks so you can be feel better knowing that the baby will go to a safe and loving home. If you need more support beyond your friends and family, we can refer you to a qualified counselor who has experience with adoption.
We maintain strict confidentiality and respect your privacy throughout the entire process. Plus all of these services are at no cost to you.
If you live in Alton or the surrounding area and are looking for an adoption provider, the Adoption Alliance provides adoptive family services as well. We’re licensed in Connecticut and New York as well as Texas and have decades of experience working with adoptive families across the continental US. We know that being informed is very important throughout this process. We keep you up to date and let you know what you should expect as things progress.
After you pass a background check and home study, we can help you create a family profile that captures the personality of your family. Once you match with a birth mother, we’ll keep you up to date on prenatal doctor appointments as well as prepare for birth and relinquishment.
