2013-02-01 – Adoption Alliance Renews Facebook Campaign w/Ronald McDonald

For the month of February 2013, $5 will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities® of San Antonio for every new ‘Like’ of The Adoption Alliance Facebook Page (http://www.facebook.com/adoptionalliance). ‘Liking’ their page is also available through The Adoption Alliance website (http://www.adoption‐alliance.com).

The Adoption Alliance and Ronald McDonald House Charities® of San Antonio first partnered for a similar campaign during the recent 2012 holiday season when $1 was donated per ‘Like’. Due to its success and popularity, The Adoption Alliance has decided to renew the campaign for the month of February and increase the donation to $5 per ‘Like’.

The Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home where families can stay while their children are being treated at one of San Antonio’s various medical centers. When parents have to cope with a seriously ill child and are away from home for days, weeks, and sometimes months this can create a stressful situation on top of an already stressful time. This is where the Ronald McDonald House comes in. They will assist families by giving them a place to stay that is inexpensive but still close enough to the hospital.

Pat Bivin, Executive Director of Ronald McDonald House Charities, said, “We [Ronald McDonald House Charities® of San Antonio and The Adoptilon Alliance] both help families and are very excited to partner up again with The Adoption Alliance whose commitment to helping families is in line with our organization.”

The Adoption Alliance is a not‐for‐profit charitable corporation combining compassion in the field of adoption and has many years of experience successfully guiding families through the process.

“I am honored to continue our relationship with such a wonderful organization and create awareness, raise money, and support our hometown of San Antonio,” said Justin Johnson, Executive Director of The Adoption Alliance. Based out of San Antonio, Texas, The Adoption Alliance agency staff includes social workers, counselors, educators and administrative staff members who all share the goal of building families through adoption. Justin Johnson, Executive Director, became passionate about the adoption process from an early age as he is the son of an adoption attorney. Justin’s goal is to grow the agency and help as many families as possible.

With the help of social media, companies such as The Adoption Alliance and charitable organizations can partner up and give back to the community. This simple act will allow parents to have one less worry when caring for their sick child.
